Mmmmmmmmm....

That's all I could manage with my jaws stuck shut with caramel. Because of these....

Caramel Apples!
This one was mine....i took trail mix (peanuts, almonds, cashews, raisins & M&Ms) and lightly smashed it with my meat tenderizer until it was perfect for rolling the caramel apples into. Quite delightful and a wonderful ending to a relaxing Sunday. Lauren has left for California for 2 weeks and we were a little lonely, so this gave us a fun family project for this afternoon.

After we were finished eating the caramel apples, Mira & Nolan took the seeds from the cores and planted them in our yard. Someday, if out of nowhere a tree sprouts up, their great idea will have paid off....and hopefully we'll remember what it was from.
