One and DONE!

Okay, so let's have a little party to celebrate the end of yet another gymnastics competition season! Not only because our weekends are now OPEN to do WHATEVER...but really because we brought back with us from St. George the #1 (Level 7) 14 year old gymnast in the state of Utah!!

This has been a roller coaster of a season, but Lauren totally came through in the end. She took first place for bars (9.25) and floor (9.45), second on vault (9.1) and fifth on beam (8.85 with a fall). This gave her enough points to earn her spot as the All Around Champion, with a 36.595.

While we were in St. George, it was warm enough to do some swimming!
The kids had a blast and my parents came down to join in the fun too :) We had an awesome dinner at a Japanese steakhouse and topped everything off with some yummy treats from ColdStone. A great weekend was had by ALL. From 75 degrees to snow back at home - talk about going from one extreme to the other....but it can't diminish the day for Lauren! This is her time to SHINE! We are all very proud of her accomplishments and all the hard work she put in this year!
